About the Opportunity

As the Manager of Business Processes& Projects, you will lead the identification, prioritisation and implementation of projects and improvement activities across the Motoring & Mobility division, including quantifying business benefit realisation from these initiatives.

You will be responsible for developing and managing plans and project budgets, including program inter-dependencies, monitoring and driving deliverables across project team members, external partners and other business units.

Key responsibilities of the role:

  • Lead the identification, prioritisation and implementation of improvement activities utilising specified change and continuous improvement frameworks.
  • Interpreting business needs and translating these into operational requirements.
  • Leading and coordinating the review and reporting of initiative progress to management and stakeholders and ensure ongoing alignment with strategic objectives.
  • Taking accountability, managing and delivering from inception to delivery and completion.
  • Develop, improve and manage modelling and process frameworks which will allow comprehensive analysis and monitoring to be conducted.
  • Provide expert advice to stakeholders and leaders and provide recommendations on operational improvements.
  • Provide expert support through training and development activities within the team to increase capability and competence.
  • Lead and establish effective relationships with key internal and external stakeholders in a manner that contributes to the RACV M&M portfolio achieving their goals.
  • Act as a coach and mentor to peers within the Motoring products and projects team

What you’ll need to be successful

  • Good knowledge and handling of project management methodology and techniques
  • Ability to build credibility, trust and rapport with stakeholders at all levels, internal and external to the organisation
  • Ability to understand complex business problems with analytical and technical mindset
  • 4+years’ experience in project, stakeholder and change management methodologies to successfully deliver sustainable improvement outcomes
  • Tertiary qualifications in commerce, business, IT or related field desirable
  • 4+years’ experience in a medium to large organisation in related roles analysing Business Processes, identifying and implementing technology-based and transaction-based customer service
  • Experienced in facilitating workshops to engage cross-functional groups to understand complex business problems and agree long term solutions
  • Experience using Confluence & Jira
  • Commitment to engender initiative, innovation and accountability to establish and develop teams to achieve results under changing conditions.
  • Demonstrated ability to successfully manage complex projects from concept to completion, to agreed deliverables for a successful outcome 
  • Demonstrated experience in a project environment, including scheduling, reporting, coaching and supporting others in the use of project management principles and processes
