- Salary: $119,317 to $123,822 - ASO8 - Full Time / Term Contract (Temporary up to 2 Years with the possibility on ongoing)
The Manager, Clinical Planning is accountable to the Executive Director, Planning and Commissioning for:
- Leading and managing the development of planning processes and activities that ensure appropriate planning for future health services and facilitate implementation of identified health reforms across the system.
- Researching and analysing international, national and local evidence to identify best evidence, practice and key performance indicators relevant for adaptation for the South Australian Health Care System thereby contributing to the development and design of new service models based on evidence of program performance and best practice principles.
- Contributing significantly to the development of a vision and roadmap for the SA Health system 5-10 horizon ensuring the health needs of the community are met in the future.
- Contributing significantly to provision of a system wide perspective and coherence to all macro planning work and emphasising the importance of taking a system - wide view with respect to these plans
- Leading the critical review and analysis of the current and projected health demand at a system level and contributing to the future direction of clinical service delivery.
Appointment will be subject to a satisfactory Criminal History Check and appropriate immunisation requirements.
