The Role
As we have condensed our value streams to better align to our enterprise strategy, the Transformation business unit have since gone through a re-organisation of our teams to optimize its delivery efficiency and uplift organisational execution.
As a result, we have a number of newly created roles within the business enablement function.
Reporting into the Head of Business Enablement, Community of Practice & Capability Manager will be responsible for uplifting the enterprise execution capability and competency to better support execution of key projects and initiatives.
You will succeed in doing so by developing and delivering an organisation-wide adoption of execution methods, frameworks and toolkits, professional and project delivery processes, standards and policies including adoption of external best practices and benchmarking of competency development.
Working in close collaboration with various communities in the MLC Life Insurance organisation such as our Process, Product, Change communities and our Iteration Managers, this instrumental role brings together a blend of skills, practices and experience to drive the design and development of competency and Capability frameworks.
You will lead and champion delivery community engagement and promotion of cross community skills, knowledge and practice sharing.
About you
An experienced Agile practitioner and professional, you possess a minimum of 10+ years and a proven track record of success in delivering to various enterprise-wide programs and projects within the financial services industry.
Your human-centered design approach and knowledge in lean methodologies, coupled with a strong background in change management will enable you to develop and implement at scale project management competency uplift programs at practitioner and executive level, including excellent communications, training and executive coaching in addition to developing competency standards, tools, processes and frameworks.
Lastly, you possess excellent stakeholder management skills and the ability to understand and map stakeholder interests, maintain a consistent and regularised communication strategy at a senior level and ensure alignment of central function requirements with the needs of distributed and distinct business unit portfolios.
