ElectraNet is seeking a motivated and experienced Manager to lead our team and play a vital role in achieving our ambitious growth strategy. In this leadership position, you'll be responsible for overseeing all aspects of customer connections, from opportunity identification and development to project execution and delivery. You'll build strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders, ensuring exceptional customer service and driving the creation of new revenue streams.
- Identify, develop, and secure new customer connection opportunities.
- Manage customer relationships, ensuring contractual obligations are met and exceeding customer expectations.
- Lead the development of proposals, bids, and transactions for new business ventures.
- Collaborate with internal teams across various departments to ensure seamless project execution.
- Contribute to the development of ElectraNet's Corporate Growth Strategy and work closely with other key functions.
- Continuously monitor market trends and industry developments to identify new opportunities and inform strategic decision-making.
The successful applicant will be/have:
- A highly motivated and commercially focused leader with a proven track record of building and motivating high-performing teams.
- An experienced negotiator with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, adept at influencing stakeholders at all levels.
- A strategic thinker with a strong understanding of the electricity market, regulations, and industry trends.
- A problem-solver with a proactive approach and the ability to manage complex projects effectively.
- 10+ years of experience in a deal advice/consultancy, business development, or related industry role (essential).
- Tertiary qualification in a relevant technical, financial, or commercial field (essential).
- 5+ years of people leadership experience in a public or private corporate environment (essential).
- Advanced written and oral communication skills, with demonstrated negotiation and conflict resolution expertise.
- Strong commercial acumen and the ability to conduct financial/risk analysis.
