Our client, a leading Global 3PL Transport, Warehousing & Logistics company, is expanding, and are seeking a talented Continuous Improvement Manager from within the Transport, Warehousing & Logistics or Manufacturing sectors to join their team.Role Overview:
This pivotal role offers you the chance to make a significant impact at the site level while potentially contributing to broader initiatives.
You will collaborate closely with the Head of Continuous Improvement Australia to drive defined business benefits through site-focused Continuous Improvement programs.
Your responsibilities will include implementing strategies such as Value Stream Mapping, labor and equipment efficiency management, cost optimization, workplace organization, and fostering a pragmatic Continuous Improvement mindset.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and implement Continuous Improvement initiatives to enhance operational standards at their Brisbane site.
- Ensure site-specific actions align with broader strategic objectives.
- Drive improvements in labor and equipment management, cost reduction, and workplace organization.
- Cultivate a Continuous Improvement culture, encouraging active pursuit of improvement opportunities.
You will have the following skills and competencies from within the Transport, Warehousing & Logistics or Manufacturing sector:
- Extensive experience in Lean and/or Six Sigma methodologies.
- Previous Industry based Continuous Improvement experience.
- Successful management of improvement projects.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proactive problem-solving ability and independence.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office.
