ReturnToWorkSA is South Australia’s work injury insurance agency and is also responsible for regulating the Return To Work scheme. The organisation continues its quest to create greater efficiencies and improve the service and support delivered to injured workers and employers. They are seeking a Manager, Corporate Program Management Office, who will play a critical role in the development and implementation of their new project strategy and program architecture.
The Opportunity
This is an exciting opportunity to join ReturnToWorkSA, to establish and lead a coordinated, efficient and outcomes focused organisational Corporate Program Management Office (CPMO). The CPMO will define and deliver RTWSA’s future state project and program management model, to deliver better outcomes for their customers and stakeholders.
As the Manager, CPMO, you will be responsible for establishing the CPMO, including the design and implementation of all relevant governance aspects in relation to processes, policies, budgets, performance measures and reporting.
Key responsibilities:
- Work collaboratively with the Executive Leadership Team (ETL) and the Strategy & Planning Team to ensure program and project delivery and outcomes are aligned to RTWSA’s objectives.
- Work closely with the Program Manager Digital Transformation to leverage existing project modelling, planning tools and reporting methods.
- Foster a culture of professional excellence, accountability and innovation, focused on delivering quality business and customer outcomes.
- Develop and implement strategies and tools for the continuous monitoring and evaluation of projects.
- Manage CPMO resources, including staff, systems, processes and budget.
- Apply a suitable structured methodology and lead the consistent implementation across the business.
- Regularly communicate with key stakeholders and team members and prepare progress reports for the Board, Exec and Steering Committees.
A customer focused PMO Manager with proven experience managing a program portfolio comprising multiple complex projects within a large organisation. Experience in establishing all foundational aspects of a CPMO or similar function is required.
You will be a skilled communicator and consultative leader with a proven track record of applying appropriate program management methodologies including governance, planning and resource management. You will have strong skills in creating and maintaining key relationships across the business and exemplary leadership that illustrates the ability to lead with integrity and courage.
