About the role
We’re looking for an interpersonal manager who can achieve positive cyber security outcomes through implementing and running a set of market leading cyber security tools. You’ll report directly to the CISO and have a team of cyber security engineers report to you. You’ll take ownership across a range of market leading cyber security SaaS based products, spanning all areas of security.
Some of your key responsibilities in this role will be:
Create, lead and mentor a team of 5 cyber security engineers whilst designing & improving work process and ways of working
Act as a point of escalation for technical expertise across the team and providing Cyber Security information to operational and project teams
Create the cyber security tooling roadmap and execute on this now and into the future
Manage the Cyber Security toolset budget and manage relationships with tooling and service provider vendors
Liaise effectively with other members of the Cyber Security Leadership team and the broader ICT Leadership team
Sound interesting? As Manager Cyber Security Engineering you will ideally have:
3+ years in a cyber security engineering management or other role with responsibility for setting an architectural vision
7+ years in a technical specialist role within cyber security, networking, infrastructure or related fields
Experience working with SIEM, SOAR, EDR, CASB, NTA, PAM, Certificate and Key Management, or other related security technologies
Experience working with cloud security products and managing security tooling across a hybrid and multi-cloud environment
Experience managing vendor relationships and the lifecycle of security products
Experience working within a Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) team environment, as well as attracting and maintaining top talent
This is a permanent full-time position reporting to the Director of Cyber Security (CISO). It is a Melbourne based position with work from home flexibility. We're looking to move fast on this opportunity. Applications will be closing on the 31st of March.
