We offer a range of finance solutions including white label, joint venture arrangements and floor plan finance. Our proprietary loan origination system supports our dealers and distributors to facilitate seamless, convenient and customer focussed finance solutions for consumers and businesses.
Due to continued growth of our business, we have an exciting new opportunity for a Business Development manager to join our highly-motivated Sales team!
Responsibilities
• Assist the Head of Broker in developing new sales strategies to increase market share and sales from broker network.
• Maintain current knowledge and analysis of competitors in our market, and their pricing, product and service offerings.
• Complete regular visitation to relevant introducer accounts in line with the sales strategy.
• Regular phone, email and video (meeting) contact and liaison with brokers, delivering assistance and training on Allied Credit’s product, pricing, system and processes.
• Achieve new business growth and exceed set quarterly sales targets.
• Actively prospect for new broker opportunities (inactive or active) and convert these into regular Allied Credit brokers.
• Conduct or assist the Head of Broker in completing presentations, meetings and webinars when required to brokers and aggregators.
• Attend relevant aggregator and industry events (PD days, training sessions, social events etc).
• Uphold positive and strong working relationships with all relevant internal staff and departments at Allied Credit.
• Be an “Allied expert,” holding a current and accurate understanding of all Allied products, pricing, system and processes.
• Identify and suggest any possible improvements to streamline and optimize business processes related to the broker aggregator relationship, focusing on efficiency and effectiveness.
Your background
• Proven track record of successful B2B business and partnership development, preferably in the financial services or finance broker industry.
• Strategic thinker with the ability to translate goals into actionable plans.
• Experience in analysing and identifying new sales opportunities, competitor activities, and customer preferences to assist in growing sales volumes.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends and make data-driven decisions.
• Outstanding ability to initiate and maintain strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including negotiation and conflict resolution abilities.
• Strong time management and the ability to effectively implement a broker visitation schedule.
• Ability to run presentations and face to face meetings.
• Proficiency in using CRM systems, sales analytics tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Self-motivated, result-oriented, and capable of thriving in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
