Role Type: 12 month OpportunityThis role is for a 12-month fixed term to support delivery of financial crime governance processes across the portfolio of Financial Institutions customers - in particular Banks and NBFI's.The role is in FIG FCG - a team within the FIG Coverage business. The focus for the role is on the following activities.The role will report to the Director - FIG FCG NBFI Financial Intermediaries but will also provide support to Director - FIG FCG Banks. The role will also require high levels of engagement with multiple key stakeholders including Relationship Managers (KYC Owners), Financial Crime Threat Management Operations and Transaction Banking Specialists.What will your day look like
- Working with other FIG business teams and other key stakeholders to understand the change context and customer impacts when delivering and implementing the new first line financial crime processes required.
- Support the Business to elicit, document, and manage implementation of business process requirements.
- Analyse end to end process information, design and draft new business process improvements efficiently within timeframes
- Good stakeholder management skills with an ability to lead them through analysis and synthesis of information
- Ability to complete analytical activities such as process mapping and change/impact management
- Experience generating key artefacts including the preparation of process documentation, training materials, and recommendations for decision.
- Experience in Risk or Institutional business roles - ideally NFR related and/or FI and Transaction Banking:
- Interpersonal skills with the ability to interface with wide stakeholder group.
- Adaptable to change; strong on delivery execution at pace BUT also with care.
- Sound communication skills (written and verbal), organising and prioritising skills
- Ability to work independently
- Have an eye for detail and be able to deliver to deadlines
- Willingness to develop knowledge in KYC Due Diligence and Transactional Banking Products, in particular clearing and payments
