About the roleThe
Senior Manager, Strategy and Governance will serve as a trusted adviser and confidant to the COO and will help by driving key strategy, planning and performance decisions for Corporate Services. The role will also be responsible for managing relationships with the executive team and key internal staff and stakeholders..the
Senior Manager, Strategy and Governance position will take a whole of organisation approach ensuring information and activity flow is effective and the COO is supported to lead a complex work program. The role will be pivotal in giving the COO invaluable context on a range of strategic issues across Corporate Services and the VGSO
Responsibilities would include:- Identify opportunities for organisational improvement and drive change management initiatives to foster a culture of continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to gather input, build consensus, and drive strategic initiatives forward.
Skills and experience- Relevant tertiary qualifications in a related or aligned discipline.
- Proven senior leadership experience in strategic planning, innovation, organisational development, or management consulting.
- A strong team player with high political acumen, emotional intelligence, self-awareness, and sound judgement.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights
