We are a fast-growing business and this is an opportunity for a Financial Planning & Analysis Manager to join our team, reporting onto the CFO.
About the role
This role will appeal to someone with shared values and ‘sense of purpose’, and represents a unique opportunity to help build the foundations of the FP&A process within a fast-growing business. This role is ideal for someone who wants to make an impact and have exposure to a breadth of experience which comes from being involved in a dynamic and agile company.
The role will focus on providing finance support to the activities of business, including but not limited to forecasting and reporting the financial outcomes of the businesses’ strategic initiatives, working closely with senior management to increase the company’s efficiency and profitability by assisting with the formulation of both the medium and long-term financial plans. Key responsibilities include:
Leading the delivery of financial planning and analysis, including annual budget and revenue forecasting on a rolling basis
Analysis of financial and operational results to support growth opportunities & business performance
Assisting with technical monthly management accounting
Ownership of key aspects of the business ERP system; including working closely with Operations and Management to deliver outcomes
Development of process & procedures for new revenue streams, as well as reviewing existing processes and procedures to develop recommendations for business improvement
Preparing business cases to support new investment, strategic and other business decisions
About You
Ideally you will be CA or CPA qualified. You have a strong accounting background and qualitative expertise, as well as knowledge of accounting ERP systems, ideally NetSuite, and advanced excel skills. Your experience in financial planning and analysis is essential.
You are a self-starter, you have excellent written and verbal communication skills, are a team player enjoying the engagement that working in a team brings. You are proactive, solutions focussed and a natural problem solver with high attention to detail and an organised and methodical approach to your work.
