    The role of Manager, Talent AcquisitionFirst Nations & Inclusion requires an understanding of the issues affecting First Nations peoples and proven culturally appropriate communication and engagement skills. In this leadership role within the Qantas Group Talent Acquisition team, you will partner closely with the First Nations Engagement team and broader Inclusion and Diversity team to support our commitments within the Qantas Reconciliation Action Plan, including the design and delivery of the Qantas Group First Nations recruitment strategy and broader diversity and inclusion approach. You will focus on the attraction and engagement of First Nations employees, increasing our First Nations talent pipeline and activating pathway programs for emerging First Nations talent. You will also lead the recruitment strategy for diversity more broadly with a focus on inclusion and accessibility.

    Your expertise will help drive an uplift in cultural capability across the broader Qantas Group Talent Acquisition team and key business stakeholders and your continuous improvement mindset will ensure culturally safe and inclusive recruitment processes that align to best practice.

    What you’ll bring to the role:

  • Relevant professional experience in Talent Acquisition, with prior experience in First Nations recruitment
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively engage, communicate and consult with all levels of internal and external First Nations stakeholders and communities
  • Experience managing recruitment delivery in a large and complex organisation, working collaboratively with stakeholders to deliver outcomes
  • Strong communication and advisory skills and the ability to influence outcomes applying principles and practices of employment equity, ethical conduct and workplace health and safety
  • Proven time management and organisational skills, with the ability to work well under pressure of multiple deliverables within tight deadlines
  • Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, Organisational Psychology, Business or a related field preferred
  • Strong team player, with an interest in supporting and developing others
