ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking a highly motivated Talent Acquisition & Retention Manager to join our amazing People and Culture team. This role will report directly into the Head of People and will play a critical role in shaping the workforce that drives our brand forward. This position involves not only sourcing and acquiring top talent but also developing strategies to retain that talent. You will work closely with department leaders to identify staffing needs, optimise recruitment processes, and enhance employee satisfaction and loyalty.
Key Responsibilities:
Talent Acquisition:
- Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, from job posting, coordinating the interview process, to offer.
- Build and maintain talent pools and pipelines for all departments across the business.
- Assist the Head of People with visa processes and general people mobility activities.
- Assist the Head of People with furthering MESHKI’s Employer branding through social channels such as LinkedIn, TikTok, and supporting partnerships with external educational institutions.
Talent Retention:
- Work closely with the Head of People to analyse employee turnover and Retention data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
- Collaborate with leaders to tailor personal development plans (PDPs) and career paths for employees to foster professional growth and Retention.
- Manage feedback mechanisms such as employee surveys, exit interviews, and stay interviews to gather insights and identify areas for improvement.
Employee Engagement & Development
- Work closely with the People and Culture Team onboarding processes to ensure a smooth integration of new hires into the company culture.
- Work closely with the Head of People to Design and implement training programs to enhance employee skills and promote career development.
- Assist the Head of People on key projects such as job descriptions, job grading and salary banding matrix across the entire company to ensure clear progression pathways.
- Assist the Head of People with probation reviews, performance pulse surveys, and the company’s annual performance review process.
Reporting and Compliance:
- Maintain accurate records of recruitment, hiring, and Retention metrics to report to senior management.
- Ensure all Talent Acquisition and Retention practices comply with regulatory and legal requirements.
- Stay updated on the latest trends and best practices in recruitment and employee retention.
ABOUT YOU
- Proven experience in a recruitment agency specialising in fashion, with a deep understanding of industry-specific demands and role requirements.
- Extensive network within the fashion industry, enabling quick and effective talent sourcing.
- Proficient in managing recruitment in the US and Australia, adept at navigating international hiring challenges including visa regulations and relocation logistics.
- Demonstrated ability to fill roles swiftly and meet high recruitment standards, ensuring candidates' long-term success and stability within the company.
- Significant experience in employee retention, with a history of developing strategies that decrease turnover and increase job satisfaction.
- Naturally personable, excelling in building trust and fostering relationships with diverse talent, enhancing engagement and loyalty.
- Strong communication abilities, effectively articulating company values and negotiating to meet both organisational needs and candidate expectations.
- Deep appreciation of company culture nuances and its impact on employee performance; passionate about cultivating a positive workplace culture.
- Experienced in conducting performance reviews and designing recognition programs that align with company goals and motivate staff.
- Proficient in identifying and understanding the unique qualities and styles that fit MESHKI’s needs, with a knack for scoping out and networking with potential talent.
