Internal Opportunity - Seeking Expression of Interests for the position of Manager Governance & Quality
About the Position:
Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), the Manager Governance & Quality provides best practice governance, quality and compliance services to the organisation. The position provides procedural, governance compliance and support to the Board, relevant sub committees and to the CEO.
The position proactively supports RCA’s strategic and operational objectives by focusing on a positive quality improvement culture, ensuring policies, practices, and processes are in place to successfully deliver on governance and compliance outcomes. This role is key to meeting regulatory compliance and records management obligations and ensures excellence in all of RCA's organisational governance operations and functions.
Selection Criteria:
- Relevant qualification at Diploma level or higher in Governance, Business Administration or a closely related field and/or extensive experience in Governance & Business Management with a history of success.
- A minimum of 5 years demonstrated experience in quality systems and / or governance management within a Community Services or Corporate role or equivalent with a proven record of success.
- An advanced-level understanding of governance, strategic planning, quality, compliance and records management principles, legislation, and associated systems and practices, ideally in a highly regulated not-for- profit environment.
- Demonstrated ability to provide an efficient company secretarial function to the organisation.
- The ability and experience to manage and mentor direct reporting roles and build effective high performing teams to achieve organisational outcomes.
- Sound decision making skills based on accurate and timely analysis and ability to solve problems and present solutions.
- Exceptional interpersonal written and oral communication and leadership skills, with the ability to communicate at all levels across the organisation and with external stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to meet high level key performance indicators; support change management initiatives; achieve strategic objectives and be outcome focused.
- Demonstrated high-level computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, as well as other supporting systems such as electronic Board portals, and records management systems.
