Department: Office for Research Ethics and Integrity (OREI) - Research, Innovation and Commercialisation (RIC)
Salary: UOM 9 - $134,320 - $139,749 p.a. plus 17% super
- Lead compliance and assurance processes for international and Research Security matters at the University.
- Proactively support the University's compliance with export controls, sanctions, defence security, foreign interference guidelines, conflict of interest and related Research Security matters

- Managing and leading the International Safeguards function to ensure delivery of high quality advice and effective processes;
- Establishing credibility and influence with stakeholders, and proactively undertakeing education and outreach activities to support a robust Research Security culture;
- Operating proactively to identify trends, risks and recommendations to continuously improve the University's International Safeguards and Research Security culture.
- Post-graduate qualifications in a relevant discipline and/or equivalent mix of education and relevant experience;
- Subject matter expertise in Export Controls, National Security or relevant related areas;
- Experience in leading a high-performing, multi-disciplinary team of subject-matter experts.
