About the opportunity

As the Manager of Enterprise Development and Delivery your main responsibilities will include:
  • Lead the Enterprise Development & Delivery team to successfully achieve operational and strategic goals, as well as promote Council's vision and purpose, and model a positive culture by living the organisational values through actions and behaviours.
  • Plan, coordinate, and manage the scoping, development, and implementation phases of the nominated project(s) to ensure completion in accordance with required timeframes, cost, quality, and service standards, and in close liaison with advisors and other key stakeholders.
  • Develop strong internal networks and build supportive relationships to ensure continuity of service with Divisional business units as well as other with other business units outside of the Corporate Affairs Department.
  • Oversee and drive Council's funding acquisition and proposal development activities, working with key stakeholders to ensure a 1-5 year forecast of key activities, in alignment with Council's Corporate Plan and strategic priority areas.
  • Contribute, and facilitate where required, to public consultation activities and ensure that effective liaison is undertaken with community, Traditional Owners, Prescribed Bodies Corporate (PBC's), government agencies, and other major stakeholders.
  • Utilising Council preferred software and systems; lead the evolution of data capture and reporting capabilities, particularly in the areas of funding, project management, and service delivery.
The right person for the role will possess the following:
  • Tertiary qualifications in business and/or project management.
  • At least five (5) to eight (8) years' experience in a similar position focusing on business development, project management and/or funding acquisition.
  • Demonstrated team leadership and change management experience.
  • Demonstrated multifaceted stakeholder engagement, influencing and negotiation abilities.
  • A current (open and unrestricted) Queensland Driver's Licence.
  • The ability to be culturally responsive by demonstrating an understanding of the issues affecting Torres Strait Islander people and communicating with sensitivity and effectiveness.
