Key requirements:
- Contribute to setting a clear direction and purpose for the Project Management Office in consultation with the Corporate Planning and Performance.
- Lead the the Project Management Office and play a key role in building project management capability across the organisation.
- Proactively develop and support staff across the organisation in relation to project management and collaborate to improve project performance.
- Define and implement the project prioritisation process to inform and guide decision making and support budgeting processes.
- Foster engagement across alliances to ensure a one-enterprise view of major projects and project portfolio management and encourage a cooperative interface across disciplines in relation to project management issues.
- Work with business units to ensure the timely planning of projects
- Provide project reporting to senior management to improve transparency into project's performance, and potential challenges, inform decision making, and manage exposure to project risk.
Experience required:
- Experience working in a PMO or project delivery team with 3+ year in leadership roles.
- Project delivery background with at least 3 years' experience as a Project Manager.
- Demonstrated capacity to build and sustain productive and collaborative working relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders, with the ability to influence, negotiate, and manage outcomes.
- Experience in establishing performance measures and governance reporting on projects, programs, and portfolios.
- Proven experience in building high-performing teams.
