- Ensure regulatory compliance throughout the business.
- Deliver regular reporting and metrics, keeping stakeholders informed and engaged.
- Handle HR administrative duties with precision and efficiency.
What are we looking for?
At Varley Transport, we're seeking a dynamic individual who embodies our 'Can-Do' culture and is passionate about driving positive change. If you're a motivated self-starter with a keen eye for detail and a proven track record in HR, safety management & culture, we want to hear from you. Key attributes we are looking for include:
- Certificate IV in Occupational Health and Safety or equivalent.
- Certificate IV in Human Resources Management or equivalent.
- In-depth knowledge of safety legislation, standards, compliance, and risk management.
- Experience in incident investigation and corrective action implementation.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Previous experience in the transport industry is highly desirable.
- A thirst for knowledge and a commitment to continuous learning.
- A team player with the ability to connect with individuals at all levels of the organisation.
- Meticulous attention to detail and a drive for accuracy.
- Demonstrated success in a similar role with a minimum of 5 years experience.
- A strong understanding of WA Heavy Vehicle Accreditation (desirable).
