As the Manager of Injury Management, you will provide leadership, direction, and consultancy for services that support the implementation and management of Injury Management, workers’ compensation, and rehabilitation services within the Communities. These services aim to meet the needs of our clients and align with organisational objectives, adhering to relevant legislation, standards, policies, and frameworks. Some of your duties will include:
- Managing the activities of a high-quality service delivery for comprehensive Workers Compensation, Injury Management, and Rehabilitation services within the department. This promotes early intervention and support for injured employees.
- Governance of systems and processes to support effective Injury Management, Workers Compensation Claims, Rehabilitation, and goal-oriented Claims Reviews.
- Supporting the ongoing development of your team and enhancing performance and skills to achieve strategic objectives.
- Cultivating and maintaining strategic relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Developing and implementing the WHS Strategic and annual action plans to meet deliverables promptly, maintain quality standards, and drive continuous improvement in WHS performance across Communities.
- Identifying, monitoring, evaluating, and managing significant WHS risks. You’ll coordinate responses and develop strategies to eliminate or minimize these risks.
- Governance of systems and processes to support effective health and safety reporting and risk management.
- Supporting the ongoing development of your team and enhancing performance and skills to achieve strategic objectives.
- Cultivating and maintaining strategic relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
