About The Role
12 month fixed term opportunity for a Manager of Property Projects to oversee the project coordination and delivery of upgrades to improve the functionality and quality of our Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA).
Reporting to the Head of Property Development and Projects you will be responsible for:
- Leading the project management process end to end, coordinating procurement activities & monitoring project progress.
- Fostering positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including SDA providers, government agencies, and residents, to ensure alignment of project goals and objectives.
- Enabling communication channels between project teams, operational staff, contractors, and residents to facilitate smooth project execution and minimise disruptions to daily operations.
- Implementing quality assurance processes and procedures to uphold the highest standards of construction quality, safety, and accessibility throughout the project lifecycle.
About You
- Qualification in property/project management, or equivalent experience.
- Extensive & proven experience in the management of construction projects or major property development (focus on disability housing or accessible design advantageous).
- Experience in the development, governance and running of Requests for Tender / Requests for Proposal.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders and negotiate with vendors and contractors.
- Expertise in the management of third-party service providers including SLA and KPI management.
- In-depth knowledge of disability accommodation requirements, accessibility standards (e.g., ADA, Universal Design principles), and relevant building codes and regulations.
