The Opportunity
We are looking for a Manager to manage an offshore remote team in our Business Services Division. The role would allow a Remote Working arrangement.
You will be technically proficient, with a high level of interpersonal and communication skills. You will be able to step up and demonstrate your strong accounting and supervisory abilities while engaging in responsibilities including;
- Reviewing work completed by tax and business services accountants (local and overseas);
- Coaching, mentoring and supervision of staff members (local and overseas);
- Help the accountants continue with high productivity and quality work while providing them with ongoing support;
- Workflow Management;
- Working with colleagues advising clients on business and tax issues; and
- Preparation of Annual Financial Reports, Compliance & Income Tax Returns.
Experience using the following software packages would be highly valued, but not essential:
- Xero Practice Manager;
- Xero and MYOB Business software packages; and
- Business Fitness.
The Successful Applicant
To be considered for this position you will ideally have:
- Business/Commerce degree with Accounting Major;
- 6+ years experience in a similar role;
- CA/CPA qualified;
- Can commit to a minimum of 30hrs/week (full-time available);
- Strong communication skills;
- Strong attention to detail;
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team; and
- Commitment to continuing professional development.
