Job description

At Capgemini Group, we are proud of our purpose “Unleashing human energy through technology for an inclusive and sustainable future”. Our success is measured through our value creation, and our overall positive impact.

Capgemini Invent is the digital innovation, transformation and consulting global business line of the Capgemini Group, specialising in advising and supporting enterprises in significant transformation, from innovative strategy to execution and with an unstinting focus on value creation.

The focus of your role:
We’re looking for Manager or Senior Manager to join Capgemini Invent’s Supply Chain team in Australia. With industry working experience within the Supply Chain planning space, specifically Demand/Supply Planning and IBP, the role will both shape and drive the ANZ Supply Chain planning practice. Working with key clients and their related planning opportunities, developing industry leading thought leadership perspectives and developing relationships with multiple solution vendor partners.

This role will form part of the team responsible for driving the development of Invent’s Intelligent Industry capability in Australia. Through this capability Capgemini Invent brings “What’s Next” to its clients’ future planning, strategy and roadmaps, helping our clients reenvisage their Supply Chains, their planning strategies and enablement of intelligent, connected and dynamic operations. As one of the three global capability areas that make up Capgemini Invent’s global strategy, Intelligent Industry aims to reinvent the future of industry by bringing together the physical and digital worlds: helping companies to invent intelligent products, operations, and services at scale. In Australia our Supply Chain planning capabilities are a critical area for growth within this team.

You will have practical Supply Chain planning experience, working in industry, or consulting in the industry to help improve those businesses’ day to day operations and overall Supply Chain efficiency. You will have the ability to make the connection between the business, systems and data lens, knowledge of the role that digital capabilities must play, and where the critical focus areas are. You will have the credibility that comes from the learnings drawn from undertaking those implementations in a physical Supply Chain context yourself, as well as understanding the system and integration complexities. You will be able to take a client on a journey to transform their Supply Chain because you have done it yourself or you have provided the advisory before.

The role can be based in Melbourne or Sydney.

What you’ll do:

  • Be seen by the client as a planning SME, process expert and trusted advisor.
  • Identify business and innovation opportunities across the Supply Chain planning operations.
  • Work across multiple Supply Chain planning platforms: Anaplan, Kinaxis, o9 and BY.
  • Facilitate and support planning functional workshops.
  • Create / validate SP/DP/IBP process maps.
  • Lead and create document configuration, functional specifications, and test cases.
  • Lead and perform system configuration and Unit Tests
  • Provide inputs to project subject matter stream / program leadership.
What you’ll bring:
  • Experience, confidence, and maturity in working with client teams.
  • Supply chain planning strategy & operational experience.
  • Planning system implementations: Anaplan, Kinaxis, o9 and BY including hands on configuration and operational experience.
  • Ability to work in diverse multi-capability teams within the IT and Operations space.
  • Track record of building strong client relationships across multiple assignments.
