About the role
We have an opportunity for a Manager Software Assets to be part of our Group Portfolio Management - Software Assets - Technology Command. The Manager Software Assets is responsible for delivering processes and procedures for the end-to-end management of ICT Assets and Software Licensing in line with legislative, commercial, contractual andcorporate requirements. The manager works with the wider business to achieve savings via optimisation of the NSWPF software fleet.

Provide an example, relevant to the role, where you have had to provide a solution to a software asset management issue or problem (whether it be business or technology related) which you might not have experienced or had seen before and you had to bring specialists together from various areas (technology, business and/or other areas). Explain how you went about solving the issue, managing the tasks and/or project and people, influencing the parties involved, creating the solution and implementing it.
Target Question 2:
Discuss some of the factors and activities that a software asset manager would have to consider when managing software licensing and compliance, noting in particular those requiring special attention in a large organisation like the NSW Police Force.
