THE OPPORTUNITYSalary: $121,235 per annum pro rata + 11% super + annual leave loading.
Time Fraction: Full Time, 1.0 EFT.
Location: Chadstone campus. Travel to other campuses will be required.
WWCC: Appointment to this position is dependent on obtaining and maintaining an ‘employee’ Working with Children Check.

You'll play a crucial role in supporting the mental health and welfare of our students, travelling to all our campuses. Your responsibilities include overseeing counselling services, leading a dedicated team of counsellors and welfare officers, and fostering collaboration across departments to cultivate a supportive campus atmosphere.We're seeking a visionary leader to develop and implement programs, policies, and initiatives that prioritise psychological wellness and student success. If you're passionate about Student Wellbeing and creating inclusive environments, apply now to make a meaningful impact on our community!ABOUT YOUPossess a postgraduate qualification in psychology and registration with the Psychology Board of Australia.Demonstrate strong knowledge of evidence-based treatment approaches for individuals with diverse needs, along with a deep understanding of trauma-informed practice.Exhibit familiarity with relevant legal/ethical standards governing psychology, counselling, and child safety, including legislative requirements within a tertiary education context.Showcase expertise in navigating external mental health agencies and community services, alongside a commitment to promoting diversity, inclusion, and reconciliation.Display proven experience in leading and strategically managing a diverse team, emphasising client-focused service and resource management.Demonstrate expertise in setting and maintaining workplace standards, addressing sensitive information with discretion, and adapting services to align with organisational goals and priorities.ABOUT USHolmesglen is a leading education provider, valued by local and international learners, industry and the community.
