Position Summary
Full Time
The Manager of Workforce Bureau is responsible for leading the Workforce Bureau team, to provide nursing and medical staffing services and support programs, 7 days per week. The ideal candidate would be responsible to provide leadership and oversight to allocated programs to ensure management of daily operations, effective management of human resources, to exceed or meet allocated activity and financial targets, to maintain accreditation and compliance requirements and to ensure care delivered is of high quality, best practice and aligns with the Bass Coast Health values and the Health service’s Strategic and Clinical Services Plans. This also includes:
Nursing and medical workforce planning
Engaging, rostering and supporting temporary nursing and medical workforce
Medical credentialing of locum medical officers
Systems and processes to support Post Graduate Medical Council of Victoria (PMCV) and other relevant college accreditation
Scheduling and management of temporary staff accommodation
Timely processing of invoices and payments to locums, agencies and Visiting Medical Officer
Requirements of the position are providing:
Valid Police Check
Current Working with Children Check
COVID-19 Vaccination in accordance with the Chief Health officer COVID-19 Mandatory vaccination Directions
Flu Vaccination
