Market Access Team Lead (Associate Director Level)

The Opportunity
This role of a Market Access Team Lead is to be accountable for the delivery of high-quality access strategies and submissions to achieve optimal national & hospital Market Access for our Company’s products. In this role you are expected to take a broad approach to your activities, working in a cross-functional matrix with local, regional and global stakeholders, both internal and external. You will also have responsibility to identify and develop future Access Leaders and support the broader Value and Access Department’s objectives/priorities.
What will you do:
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Co-ordinate industry leading HTA submissions, and hospital formulary submissions whilst ensuring alignment to company policy positions.
Strengthen the Australian value proposition of new and existing compounds by contributing to Value Evidence and Implementation Plans.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to project and resource plan, develop reimbursement strategies for new and established products / indications.
Lead discussions with global and regional stakeholders on clinical development programs and provide quality advice on health economic and pricing matters.
Prepare clinical and economic evidence to support reimbursement or pricing requirements, including development of access / outcomes research studies to address identified needs.
Horizon scanning and proactively monitoring the external environment to identify risks and opportunities.
Embed a high performing culture within the team that enables the growth and development of future Access Leaders
What should you have:
Education:
Undergraduate degree in life sciences and/or health economics.
Training/experience in epidemiology, economic modelling and/or statistics is desirable.
Post-graduate degree in health economics, epidemiology or health sciences would be an advantage.
Experience:
At least 7 years’ Market Access experience (industry, consultancy, government, academia), with a track record covering a diverse range of submission types to various funding bodies.
Experience in one of the following therapy areas would be valued: oncology, infectious diseases/vaccines, primary care.
