AddressNursery Traders, a leading wholesale nursery market is seeking an enthusiastic person to join their team as a Market AssistantGoods In/Out. This position is a casual position with a view to permanency - Grade 4 - Adult (Nursery Award 2020), 38 hours per week, $32.73 per hour.
Primary responsibilities include processing all aspects associated with stock movement in and out of the market, monitoring stock on hold for customers, preparing orders for dispatch, quality control, merchandising, customer service, packing orders for delivery and general nursery and administration duties.
Applicants must enjoy working in a team, be able to multi-task, have strong attention to detail, excellent organisational and communication skills, intermediate computer proficiency, be passionate about customer service and be physically fit.
This role is primarily working in a covered dock area and an inside workstation, with occasional outdoor work. Trade certificate or equivalent is desirable, horticultural background is preferential however a passion for plants is essential. Forklift licence would be an advantage, however not essential. Please note that our workplace is a smoke-free environment.
