An exciting opportunity is now available for an experienced Marketing and Communications Manager who is hands on and who can lead a team to success to join the team in the beautiful STEPS Head Office based in Caloundra. This opportunity at STEPS will allow you to work across a diverse range of programs focused on empowering individuals to achieve their goals through education and training, employment, social inclusion and wellbeing.
The Position
Managing the marketing team, this role will deliver the design and development of marketing, promotion and communication collateral to achieve the strategies which support the achievement of STEPS overall business objectives. Your duties will include:
- Assist with the planning, development and implementation of the Marketing and communication plans, including achieving targets, timeframes and budgets
- Work collaboratively with Executive and Senior leaders to assist in designing, developing and delivering effective marketing, promotion and communication materials
- Managing marketing communications aligned with the organisation's Marketing and communication strategies, including:
- Online/Digital Media
- Digital Marketing / Advertising
- Website and web design
- Social media channels
- Print media advertisements
- Printed collateral
- Direct marketing
- Content planning
- Public relations
- Manage the on-going management of the organisations' internal and external communications strategies and engage with stakeholders
- Manage the provision of design services, within branding guidelines, communication marketing messages with creativity and accuracy
- Oversee, coach, lead and develop team members to provide quality Marketing and Communications support
The Successful Applicant
To be considered for this opportunity you must meet the following criteria:
- Demonstrated experience in developing and successfully project managing marketing campaigns is essential
- Tertiary qualification in Business or Marketing or related discipline with a minimum of 3 years experience working in a management role
- Demonstrated skills in developing written content for a range of Marketing and promotional activities across digital and traditional communication channels
- Proven ability to undertake research to prepare and writing marketing communications, making often complex information more understanding and compelling
- Have a flexible and adaptive management style that includes developed interpersonal skills, communication, coaching and resilience
- 2 x COVID-19 Vaccination is mandatory
