We are a registered NDIS provider (National Disability Insurance Scheme) and we have the respect of our peers as a provider of excellent care. We are seeking a Marketing and Communications Manager on a part-time basis of 45 hours per fortnight for Parental Leave Cover for 12 months.

About the role
We’re looking for a diligent, values-driven Marketing and Communications Manager with the ability to bring creative thinking to this integral role within our not-for-profit organisation in Perth’s eastern suburbs.
Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, the marketing manager position is general in nature and is responsible for managing marketing, external events, promotions and Communications activities at Crosslinks.
While this role covers a broad range of activities, it is especially important that the successful candidate has a strong understanding of various online platforms, including Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram and webpage maintenance (Wordpress) as well as a good understanding of creative production management (design, videography, photography). Skills in obtaining photos and video for promotional use would be considered a bonus.
Excellent writing skills are essential as the role will involve producing media releases, advertisements, articles, speeches and correspondence with various stakeholders.
Core duties of this position include:
- Establish a deep understanding of Crosslinks and our uniqueness within the disability services sector in order to promote our brand in everything that we do.
- Assist in the coordination and forward planning of Crosslinks marketing strategies,implementing new promotional/branding opportunities across traditional and digital channels.
- Plan, develop and implement targeted promotional campaigns and brand Communications that engage and drive engagement with participants, employees, partners, stakeholders, etc.
- Coordinate the delivery of high-quality email marketing campaigns, including developing copy, scheduling, testing, and database management.
- Create and manage content and social media marketing programs, including monitoring and reporting on their effectiveness.
- Analyse and assess the effectiveness of our marketing strategy on an ongoing basis in order to advise on improvements to future activities.
- Assist and provide guidance with internal and stakeholder communication, including participants, employees, etc.
- Plan and develop photographic or video projects to enhance our marketing material.
- Using data driven marketing to optimize lead generation and referrals to Crosslinks services.
- Supporting business development and growth with the formulation and implementation of marketing material and information packs ensuring consistent messaging about the journey for a participant and supporting family.
This role will suit someone who is looking for diversity in their work and enjoys working in a small team environment. You will be proactive and motivated to turn your hand to any tasks and aim to achieve strategic long-term directions and outcomes.
Requirements:
- Relevant qualifications and 3-5 years’ experience in marketing, communications or a related field.
- Solid understanding of marketing techniques and principles.
- Proven experience managing digital marketing assets and social media campaigns.
- Creativity and commercial awareness.
- Ability to work autonomously.
- Knowledge of disability services or not-for-profit sector will be highly regarded.
- Experience in Marketing and branding content creation for a medium sized organisation, in the not for profit sector.
- Experience in media relations and the ability to speak on behalf of Crosslinks in approved media statements and requests (as required).
- The ability to maintain brand integrity through management of all internal and external promotional material.
- Design experience using Canva or Adobe products ie In Design/Photoshop is desirable
