An exciting opportunity has become available at PCACS for a suitably qualified and enthusiastic Marketing and Communications Officer to join the team.
About the opportunity
Working in conjunction with the Business Manager and Registrar, this role will create and implement the School’s Marketing and communication strategy to facilitate, foster and maintain relationships within Peter Carnley Anglican Community School and the wider community, as well as enhancing the reputation of the School through promotional and marketing activities targeted to attracting new enrolments.
The Marketing and Communications Officer will be responsible for the currency and accuracy of the School website, maintain a strong Social Media presence to ensure effective online marketing of the School, and be responsible for various events both internal and external to the School. The role will also be responsible for the planning, development, and implementation of internal School publications.
To be considered for this opportunity, you will demonstrate:
Essential
Advanced level of IT skills, including website management, desktop publishing and Microsoft Suite.
Experience working with written media.
Well-groomed and with outstanding oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.
Demonstrated capacity for taking initiative and self-directed work with minimal supervision.
Well organised, accurate, creative, and innovative with the ability to prioritise tasks.
Must have a current Driver’s License.
Ability to work under pressure.
A strong sense of confidentiality and loyalty.
A current and valid Working with Children Check and National Police Clearance (or willingness to obtain).
Desirable
A Degree in marketing, communications or similar.
A flexible approach to work is required and some ‘out of hours’ work including weekends and evenings.
