FORM is an independent, not-for-profit organisation based in Claremont with a vision of building a state of creativity and mission to make a real difference to quality of life, learning and livelihood in Western Australia.
We also manage FORM's Gallery and Cafe (formerly known as The Goods Shed) in Perth and Spinifex Hill Studio and Project Space in South Hedland.
We work to build a cultural and creative ecology in Western Australia that values artistic excellence, improves arts access for all, and encourages resilient and vibrant communities. Our activities span high-level artistic development and exhibitions; placemaking and cultural infrastructure development; collaboration with Aboriginal artists and communities; creative learning; research and advocacy. The Opportunity
We are seeking a highly motivated Marketing and Communications Officer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, implementing, and evaluating Marketing And Communications strategies to support our mission and reach our target audience.
With a focus on FORM’s Creative Learning Strategy, including the Scribblers Festival, Creative Schools, and other relevant FORM programming, the key objectives of this position are:
- Contributing to the development and leading the implementation of a Marketing And Communications plan for FORM’s Creative Learning programs, including, but not limited to Scribblers Festival and Creative Schools
- Provide Marketing And Communications support, particularly for digital and social media promotion across FORM’s program areas as required.
- Fostering positive and collaborative relationships with key external stakeholders
- Analyse and report on the effectiveness of Marketing And communication efforts.

What we'll need to get you started
- Tertiary qualification or equivalent experience in marketing or communications or at least two (2) years' experience in a similar role.
- Proven track record of developing and implementing Marketing And Communications plans, preferably in a program or events environment.
- Strong written and verbal communications skills
- Experience with social media management and content creation preferred.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Full unrestricted Australian working rights - we won't be reviewing applications that don't meet this criteria.
