An exciting opportunity exists for a Marketing and Events Executive to join our DMG Organics team. This is a hands-on role responsible for the implementation of marketing strategies, and the promotion of DMG Organics to consumers and trade platforms. Working with both the Head of DMG Organics and the wider business, this person will deliver tailored marketing activities, from social media and EDM campaigns, to cultivate and manage relationships with partners and sponsorships. Organizing and attending events to raise brand awareness and sales initiatives.

Reporting to the Head of DMG Organics responsibilities include:

  • Assist development and implementation of comprehensive marketing strategies to drive customer acquisition, retention, and revenue growth for the e-commerce platform.
  • Support the Digital Marketing Manager in all aspects of digital marketing, including copywriting, design briefing, and planning for EDM, building effective email journeys to support database growth and improve conversion.
  • Liaise with stakeholders and vendors to promote the success of activities and enhance the company’s presence.
  • Monitor and analyse key performance metrics, such as website traffic, conversion rates, and customer engagement, and use data-driven insights to continuously optimize marketing strategies.
  • Regularly review and update website content to keep it accurate, relevant, and engaging for visitors. This includes updating product information, blog posts, news articles, and any other content areas on your site.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, including data privacy laws and advertising standards, in all marketing activities.
  • Report website bugs or malfunctions.
  • Development and execution of compelling brand activation initiatives, including events, tastings, and educational seminars, to engage trade partners/consumers and drive brand advocacy.
  • Provide sales teams with the tools, resources, and training necessary to effectively communicate brands value propositions and drive sell-through at the distributor and retailer levels.
  • Develop event concepts, themes, and promotional strategies that align with business objectives and target audience preferences.
  • Track and analyse event metrics, including attendance, engagement, leads generated, and evaluate event effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for sponsors and partners, building and maintaining strong relationships through regular communication, meetings, and updates.
  • Foster strong relationships with key stakeholders, including distributor, affiliates, suppliers, retailers, and key opinion leaders, to ensure alignment and support for consumers and trade marketing initiatives.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of sponsorship and partnership activations, tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) such as brand visibility, engagement, and return on investment (ROI). Gather feedback from sponsors and partners to inform future strategies and initiatives.

What you will need: 

  • 3+ years’ experience in Events management.
  • Experience working on social media campaigns and email marketing.
  • A creative thinker with a growth-focused mindset and a can-do attitude 
  • Demonstrated ability to write and create integrated campaigns across various touchpoints, with a focus on digital content, such as social media, blogs, websites, and e-newsletters.
  • Customer-centric (Internal & External stakeholders)
  • Familiarity with a variety of inbound / outbound eCommerce marketing
  • Organised with impeccable attention to detail, with an ability to anticipate problems and provide suitable solutions.
  • Experience with email marketing platforms – Klaviyo preferred.
  • Proficiency in a range of digital marketing platforms, social media management, and paid campaigns (Meta, Google Ads and Analytics, Shopify, design software) 
  • Experience with wine or luxury products would be a bonus but is not essential.
