IDL is an end-to-end, full-service beverage production company. We offer complete private label and contract beverage production solutions for wine as well as a range of other beverages. Our facility houses some of the most sophisticated wine, cider, and beverage processing equipment in the world, ensuring that our products are consistently produced to the highest standards. In the past three years alone, wines produced by IDL have won thirty-seven international wine awards and four of these wines took out top spot with gold medals.

THIS IS WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
The purpose of this position is to manage the marketing and public image of the company through internal and external marketing and communications. The role’s responsibilities include developing and coordinating promotional materials, general communications, media activities and website content in relation to IDL and own branded goods, programs, and news.
HOURS OF WORK:
This role is a permanent part time position working 2 days a week.
THIS ROLE IS RESPONSIBLE FOR
Marketing
- Organise and conduct photoshoots that represent the brand
- Create and distribute internal-monthly team newsletter
- Organise any internal/external company events (Annual Cellar Door Sale, team events, Christmas party etc)
- Create seasonal marketing strategies for both IDL and own brand products
- Organise artwork updates to comply with new regulation standards, dieline changes as a result of new machinery
- Review internal artwork guide every 3 months with QA Manager, and customer artwork guide accordingly
- Organise Mobilo business cards for relevant IDL team members
- Submit entries to business awards for PR opportunities
- Lodge new, and maintain existing trademarks
- Submit products to beverage competitions globally
- Facilitate small wholesale opportunities when they occur
- Facilitate brand launches and marketing strategies for NPD launches
Social Networking/Media
- Create and maintain a content calendar for social media two weeks in advance
- Monitor and control paid social media advertisements
- Create social media tiles for new jobs vacancies and ensure careers page is updated accordingly
- Adhere to new trends to ensure the brand stays relevant via utilizing platforms such as Facebook, Instagram and Tik Tok
- Maintain and update IDL website including new capabilities, career opportunities, client portfolio and wine awards
- Manage SEO ongoing project by completing relevant blog articles weekly and PR outreach opportunities (source bottle submission, liaising with relevant journalists)
- Generate blog posts with relevant company news (new equipment, brands, NPD etc) and optimize to SEO standards
- Maintain domain registrations
Reporting
- Manage end of month reporting on social followers numbers, website activity and SEO numbers (SEO reports generated by Yellow Door Digital)
- Report weekly providing an analysis on Coles stock, centered around own brand products
- Work alongside QA Manager to report annually to APCO (Australia Packaging Covenant Organisation)
- Monthly CDS reporting for 5 states (VIC, WA, SA, QLD, NSW)
Relationships
- Build and maintain sponsorship relationships that promote IDL cellar door sales
- Respond to customer queries and complaints via online platforms, passing relevant information onto the Quality Assurance Officer or Sales Manager
- Facilitate PR opportunities when they arise (ie: Suppliers featuring IDL, Gordon TAE case study on IDL staff etc)
- Engage with businesses holding similar values to IDL
YOU WILL HAVE THE FOLLOWING
Essential
- Excellent communication (written and verbal)
- Ability to liaise with a wide variety of stakeholders
- Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and project management skills
Desirable
- Previous experience in marketing or a similar role
- An undergraduate degree in marketing, communications or similar
