Marketing Assistant | 30 Hours

About Us:
Barefoot Gypsy is a well-known and established importer, wholesale supplier, and retailer of furniture and homewares products sourced from around the globe. We are currently seeking a dedicated Marketing Assistant to join our team at our Mornington location.
Your New Role:
- Develop and implement social media content to build brand awareness, engage with the audience and drive traffic to the website;
- Creating and managing email marketing campaigns
- Assist in the development and implementation of marketing strategies.
- Communicate and interact with social media followers, including responding to customer inquiries.
- Ensure our brand identity is consistent across our multiple platforms.
- Assist in processing and selling stock through social media and via phone.
- Liaise with our Digital Marketing Agency.
- Manage product and lifestyle image library via Dropbox.
- Create styled images for our social media and website.
To Become a Part of Our Team, You Will Possess:
- Proficiency in our main social media platforms – Pinterest, Facebook, Instagram (including creating Reels).
- A proactive and solution-oriented mindset with a keen attention to detail
- Experience using Canva, Klavyio, and Shopify will be highly regarded.
- Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal.
- Willing to work independently
- A flexible and open-minded attitude, willing to do whatever is needed to help the team succeed.
- Availability to work 30 hours a week.
- A passion for interiors would be a bonus!
