We are seeking a Marketing & Communications Manager superstar to join one of Australia’s leading regional arts development organisations. 

Based in Lismore NSW, Arts Northern Rivers (ANR) is a peak arts body that works with individuals, organisations and government to generate, promote and advocate for the arts and creative industries in the Northern Rivers region of NSW.   

The Marketing & Communications Manager leads the development and execution of innovative marketing and communications strategies to promote the Arts Northern Rivers’ brand, programs and initiatives. They compile, maintain, and promote communication platforms, manage social media accounts, and oversee the design and production of marketing collateral.  

This role works closely with the Executive Director to develop innovative marketing strategies and secure media coverage. They drive engagement with diverse regional audiences, enhance ANR’s reputation, and contribute to the growth and success of our region’s creative industries. 

To be successful in this role we are looking for: 

• Proven experience and successful track record with a minimum of 3 years in similar marketing and communications roles, preferably in the arts, entertainment, and/or education sectors. 
• A strategic thinker with a track record of driving results and achieving targets in consultation with relevant internal and external stakeholders. 
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate towards achieving organisational objectives. 
• Demonstrated success in developing and executing multi-channel marketing and communications strategies. 
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail and a flair for creativity. 
• Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms, including social media management, CRM systems and analytics. 
• Passion for the creative industries and a commitment to promoting creativity and engagement.

Employment details: 

• Permanent part-time  
• 3 days per week, Tues-Thurs  
• Base annual salary range is between $65,000 – $70,000 gross per annum pro rata (dependent on experience) + 11% superannuation 
• Based in ANR's office in central Lismore  
• Some occasional travel required across the Northern Rivers region.
