The roleWe are seeking a Marketing Communications Manager to join 7-Eleven for a 12 month contract taking over from a team member on maternity leave.You’ll work on projects away from our physical store network including media, events, advertising and more, ensuring the smooth and successful delivery from planning through to customer engagement.Key to success in this role is delivering communications to existing and future customers that build 7-Eleven brand and product perceptions, while driving transaction growth and profitability.This includesDemonstrating your ‘customer first’ mindset in the development of Marketing Communications plansBuilding brand and product perceptions, demonstrating how 7-Eleven makes customers lives ‘Wonderfully Easier’Ensuring 7-Eleven brand guidelines, creative assets and intellectual property are used and maintainedWhat’s in your toolkitExperience leading multi-channel campaigns, across creative strategy, creative development, and owned, earned, and paid media channels.Proven ability to lead briefing and project delivery for creative and media agency partnersSolid understanding of customer and category market dynamics and how these impact communicationsThe communication and stakeholder management strengths to resolve conflict and manage business negotiationManage budget processes including raising purchase orders, goods receipting, costs & promo items raised in SAP, etc.Interpret customer insights to inform communications strategyBachelor’s degree in marketing preferred, and extensive experience in marketingLoyalty experience is preferred but not essential – please still apply if you don’t have itA day in the Life will see youPlan, develop, and deliver 7-Eleven advertising campaigns with your squadDevelop strong relationships with key stakeholders, particularly across Customer, Product, Digital and Insights teams.Partner with external agencies to co-build effective creative concepts, production, and media communications.
