The Marketing Coordinator is responsible for the growth of netball participation, Nissan Arena patronage and Queensland Firebirds membership and fandom.
Reporting to the Head of Marketing & Brand, you will support the marketing team to rollout our annual marketing calendar and digital content plans across all brands (Netball Queensland, Queensland Firebirds and Nissan Arena) as we drive towards making netball the most loved and supported sport. This includes management of the team calendar, website maintenance and upkeep, social media content creation and delivery, campaign planning and execution, fan engagement, eDM development and execution and events delivery.

Responsibilities
- Manage the CME Team calendar and work with all internal stakeholders to ensure they are up-to-date with all Netball Queensland events and activity.
- Work with the Digital Marketing Manager and Marketing Lead Consumer Programs to assist in the creation and delivery of content across our social and digital channels to ensure growth of our fan base and support of our retail campaigns.
- Maintain the upkeep of our websites and digital channels to ensure all information is current and key retail messages are front and centre.
- Support the Marketing Lead Consumer Programs to develop and deliver eDM campaigns across all brands and customer journeys plus the development and rollout of regular newsletters across the business.
- Assist the marketing team with the rollout of key marketing campaigns including execution of media schedules as directed by the Head of Marketing & Brand.
- Assist with reporting and competitor tracking to help inform marketing decisions and demonstrate ROI for commercial partners.
- Manage the tactical rollout of brand activations in alignment with our promotional calendar to maximise opportunities for data collection and ensure leverage of retail campaigns.
- Support the CM&E team to deliver first class fan experiences at events. This may include:
- the delivery of Queensland Firebirds, SSN matches, and HART Sapphire Series matches played at Nissan Arena.
- the delivery of Netball Queensland State Events, carnivals, and competitions
- delivery of community activations
About You
- A marketing related degree or relevant work experience
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Understanding of content curation across social media channels
- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely
- Experience with marketing automation system is favourable
- Ability and understanding on how to manage content across websites using Drupal and WordPress is favourable
