The role:
As our Marketing Coordinator, you will be instrumental in executing South Bank Corporation's diverse portfolio of campaigns and initiatives aimed at enhancing brand reputation, driving visitation, and promoting engagement with the precinct's offerings. Reporting to the Marketing Manager, you’ll be a specialist who is self-motivated, creative, diligent and creates effective collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.

Key responsibilities include:
- Assist in the development and execution of marketing, advertising and public relations strategies aligned with the corporation's objectives
- Execute marketing campaigns across various channels and touchpoints including branding, events, activations, sponsorships, and partnerships
- Coordinate external agencies to develop marketing creative and ensure consistent implementation across all campaigns and events
- Build and nurture relationships with key stakeholders within and outside the precinct through innovative promotional campaigns and communications
- Coordinate and enhance South Bank marketing platforms, including social media, email, website, and precinct signage
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure marketing initiatives align with business objectives
- Stay informed about market trends, consumer behaviour, and competitor landscapes to inform marketing strategies and initiatives
- Monitor and report on the performance of marketing campaigns
- Provide administrative support to the marketing team as needed
Skills & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related field with a minimum of 3 years’ experience, ideally in the events or tourism industry
- Strategic and analytic orientation, with a proven track record of problem solving based on data insights
- Proficiency in digital and social media strategies, including platforms such as Meta Ads, Hootsuite, and WordPress
- Experience in database management and segmentation
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Team player with excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively
- Proven relationship management skills
- Strong project management skills with the ability to multitask, prioritise tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Creative thinker with a keen eye for detail and design
- Proactive, self-motivated, and eager to learn and grow in a dynamic industry
