The resort comprises of 295 guest rooms, suites and villas.DepartmentOur Marketing department is looking for a Marketing Coordinator who can help us bring the Sheraton brand to life across all facets of the resort and bring passion and enthusiasm to the department.The PositionThe Marketing Coordinator will support the Marketing Director and work closely with the Marketing Executive to organize various projects and day to day needs of the department. Versatile, autonomous and comfortable using a variety of digital platforms, the ideal candidate has some experience in marketing, is a natural creative and has excellent communication skills.What are you going to do:
- Management of the hotel's digital signage and online concierge platform
- Updates to the resort and venue websites
- Updating partner websites on which the hotel has a presence
- Responding to customer comments on social networks
- Supporting with multiple administration tasks
- Production of print and electronic promotional material (collaterals, posters, flyers, PPT presentations, etc.)
- Supporting the coordination of media famils
- Attendance at key events for the resort, if required.
- Support during photo and video shoots, if required.
- Organisation of Marriott Bonvoy Moments
- Support the Executive and Director in day to day tasks.
- Be and ambassador for the brand ensuing compliance with Brand Standards for all internal and external communications and visuals
- Excellent interpersonal skills, open-minded and friendly, diplomatic and organized
- Excellent communication skills
- Fluency in spoken and written English required
- Good writing skills
- Computer and office software skills (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, CMS, Outlook, InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Adobe Acrobat)
- Connected to the local scene or good knowledge of current and local trends
- Ability to lead projects and manage several different tasks
- Ability to work independently
- Perfect knowledge of the resort and the various services on offer
- At least 1 years' experience in marketing / PR in another hotel business
- Applicants must valid working rights to work in Australia.
