Marketing Coordinator to join our team. Your role will be focused on delivering increasingly frequent, activity-rich, complex and impactful events for our clients, prospects and influencers. Most of these will involve coordination of international conferences and events. This is a full-time 12-month role.
You will be responsible for:- Event coordination – you will coordinate events, yourself, including their suppliers, GT staff, activities, follow-ups and performance summary
- Event scheduling – helping to schedule and monitor activities
- Supplier communication – you will liaise with our suppliers to help secure components of an event needed to deliver it in full and on time
- Supplier processing – Glencore Technology has an onboarding process to ensure we work with the right kinds of suppliers, and this will require your help to see those suppliers through that process
- Reporting and Intelligence – assembling and reporting event-related performance metrics
- Provision of online dialogue to client and market engagement through website livechat tools
- General marketing assistance to Business Development team.
You will progress into:
- Marketing Automation – we are migrating our events management, coordination and support to increasingly CRM-driven processes. This will require learning, procedures-development and new ways of working.
To be successful in this role, you will have:- Strong people and customer service skills
- Attention to detail, multiple tasks in play and a comfort with data and reporting
- A comfort with process, documentation and clarity in organising information
- Excellent communication skills, particularly written
- Previous experience in a similar role will be highly regarded
- Previous experience in customer relationship management systems (CRM)
- HIGHLY valued would be Spanish language proficiency, since GT coordinates many events in Spanish language countries
