About the role:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Marketing Coordinator to support our marketing team in executing and optimising various marketing campaigns. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for marketing, excellent organisational skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
What you will need to do:
- Assist in the planning, execution, and tracking of marketing campaigns, including digital, social media, email and traditional marketing channels
- Coordinate and manage content creation including writing, editing and proofreading marketing materials
- Support the marketing team with administrative tasks such as scheduling meetings, maintaining marketing calendars and managing budgets.
- Conduct market research and analyse data to identify trends, insights and opportunities for campaign optimisation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including sales, product development and customer service to ensure cohesive and effective marketing strategies.
- Monitor and report on the performance of marketing campaigns, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
- Assist in organising and coordinating events, trade shows and promotional activities.
- Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices to continually improve marketing efforts.
- Assistance in video and photo shoots
About you:
- Tertiary qualification in Marketing, Communications or a related field.
- 1-2 years of experience in a marketing role or internship
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with marketing software and tools: such as CRM systems, email marketing platforms, social media management tools)
- Proficiency in Adobe Sites (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop)
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Creative thinking and problem-solving skills
- Experience in paid digital advertising across Google and Meta
- Passion for gardening or plumbing is a plus
