M|Arts Precinct in Murwillumbah is a vibrant destination that offers a unique experience for visitors to engage with artists and explore their creations in hybrid retail/studio spaces. As a dynamic arts hub, we are committed to fostering creativity and connecting artists with the community. We are currently in search of an ambitious Marketing Coordinator to push the next phase of our precinct's evolution.
Position Overview:
As the Marketing Coordinator, you will play a leading role in shaping the future of M|Arts Precinct. We are seeking an enthusiastic marketing graduate who will be responsible for expanding our reach and overseeing both general precinct and event marketing. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter, extremely organised, a great communicator, and eager to take control of all things content marketing and brand.
Key Responsibilities:
Content Creation: Generate compelling, creative and consistent content for our social media channels, ensuring it aligns with the precinct's brand and resonates with our target audiences. You will work with photographers, designers and more to create this content. A deep understanding of social media, scheduling platforms and basic reel creation is necessary for this role.
Campaign Management: Lead end-to-end planning, implementation, and analysis of marketing campaigns. Campaigns will focus on general precinct marketing or one of many events held throughout the year.
Digital Presence: Manage and optimize the precinct's online presence, including social media, website, monthly e-newsletter and other digital partner platforms.
Community Collaboration: Work closely with our artists, vendors, and stakeholders to coordinate marketing initiatives and ensure a cohesive promotional approach. You will work as the marketing liaison between M|Arts Management and tenants, delivering collective marketing goals and coming up with new ideas to showcase our community.
Strategic Planning: Develop and execute marketing strategies to enhance the precinct's visibility and engagement.
Analytics and Reporting: Monitor and analyse the performance of our marketing campaigns, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement to the General Manager.
Budget Management: Efficiently allocate and manage the marketing budget to maximize the impact of campaigns, while ensuring all campaigns stay within budget
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Marketing or a related field.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Experience with Canva and Later.com.
Familiarity with both online and traditional marketing channels.
Creative mindset with the ability to think laterally and outside the box.
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of meeting deadlines are a must.
Extra points for experience with Adobe InDesign.
