What we are looking for
An enthusiastic, quick thinking and personable individual, who’s passionate about great customer journeys, to lead our Retention team. Reporting into the Loyalty Manager, you will lead a high-performing Retention team to deliver first class donor retention and engagement activities for single giving and regular giving programs to maximise life-time value and deliver exceptional supporter experiences.
Your day will include
- Lead UA’s single giving retention strategy and campaign execution
- Support the Loyalty Manager and work closely with the Team Lead, Supporter Experience to improve the end-to-end CX of UNICEF Australia via all feedback loops
- Lead the Retention team to foster strong agency partners across direct mail, design, data analytics, data hygiene and telemarketing Support on contract development and RPF delivery for relevant suppliers
- Lead emergency response campaign strategy through collaboration with Acquisition team
- Oversee the day-to-day expenditure of the regular giving and single giving Retention budgets, ensuring activity remains on target
- Manage direct reports in their performance and professional growth to achieve their KPIs
We would like you to have the following skills and experience
- Appropriate tertiary qualification in marketing, communications, commerce or business, or equivalent relevant experience
- A minimum of 5+ years’ experience in a consumer mass marketing environment with demonstrated experience in Retention or Loyalty marketing is highly desirable
- Ability to lead and direct high performing teams and support team members in achieving their KPIs, be KPI-driven and accountable for achieving measurable results
- Demonstrated expertise in managing donor retention programs and regular giving campaigns. Proficiency in handling singular giving initiatives, ensuring donor engagement and loyalty
- Capable of managing teams' budgets and annual budget planning, ensuring efficient allocation of resources for retention activities
- Proven ability to develop and propose annual strategies based on data-driven insights and analytics. Utilise data-driven decision-making to optimise retention efforts and enhance donor relationships
