ABOUT THE ROLE
Our client is seeking an engaging, highly organised Marketing and Bid Coordinator - ideally with a previous industry experience. This role is responsible for creating, compiling and updating relevant marketing materials, managing our client’s online and marketing presence, and leading bid submissions. While reporting to the team of Directors this role works closely with the Submission Team Leaders, Office Managers and other staff, and is located in an attractive and central Newcastle office.
Responsibilities of this permanent role include:
- Establish marketing goals based on past performance and market forecasts.
- Promote company projects and best practice in various channels including social media and website.
- Use analytical skills to evaluate various type of marketing data and efficiencies of campaigns including online; and to review submitted bids to examine opportunities for future improvements.
- Generate other marketing & development materials to support new business whilst ensuring existing marketing materials are up to date.
- Lead and contribute to bid submissions and competition entries.
- Manage the production of high-quality bid documents by drafting and preparing tenders, presentation material and collation of technical input including project documentation.
- Monitor new business-related enquiries, accurately projected timelines and submitted bids to ensure feedback is gained and recorded.
- Actively research and identify new prospective business opportunities.
- Relevant tertiary education or degree in marketing, advertising or communication.
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role - previous experience in an architectural practice is highly desirable.
- Excellent time management skills and ability to meet tight deadlines.
- Ability to manage and coordinate multiple priorities at the same time.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to adapt to the respective audience.
- Ability to work autonomously and apply initiative, as well as part of a team.
- Advanced in Adobe Creative Suite – particularly in InDesign and proficient in MS Office suite.
- Experience in AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3D Max, Illustrator or other design programs is advantageous.
