Working for a highly regarded community service/charity organisation who offer support to all walks of life in Australia; from children, families and the elderly, to those struggling with homelessness, addiction, mental health, financial or domestic challenges, this is a fabulous opportunity to make an impact and do good!

Responsible for delivering best practice marketing activities, acquisition campaigns to retain and grow the supporter base and drive brand reputation and revenue growth, you will support, execute, and deliver the marketing strategy for the designated services to help realise the organisational business and missional goals. 

Key responsibilities: 

  • In collaboration with the Head of Marketing effectively plan and implement strategic and tactical marketing & communication plans to assist in achieving business targets for designated services. 
  • Create clear and compelling marketing briefs that articulate the marketing problem and outline the project schedule. 
  • Effectively manage the development and execution of all campaign assets and ensure all marketing materials are in line with our brand identity. 
  • Develop, manage and execute end to end integrated marketing campaigns to achieve agreed objectives and targets. 
  • Conduct or initiate market research to support local area marketing plans including competitors and changing & emerging trends to support robust marketing recommendations. 
  • Manage, track, analyse and optimise the performance of campaigns and key projects to deliver on time and within budget. 
  • Measure and report on the overall performance of marketing campaigns, developing insights and improvement strategies. 
  • Manage stakeholders expectations and keep track of project milestones, status, and budgets. 
  • Support the implementation of the marketing content plans including sourcing of stories and sharing of content in relevant channels. 
  • In collaboration with the Head of Marketing support the development and implementation of new products/services to meet market needs and organisational goals.
  • Work in partnership with the Public Affairs team to facilitate development of media to augment campaigns, enhance online engagement and social media initiatives.  

Essential Skills and Experience:

  • Tertiary qualified in marketing, communications, or business and/or Bachelor qualification in a relevant field. 
  • 5 or more years’ experience as a Marketing Manager or similar role
  • Exceptional interpersonal and effective communication skills, with experience of developing comprehensive written documentation and reports. 
  • Demonstrated experience in developing, implementing, and measuring tactical marketing plans, end to end. 
  • Advanced analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills, understanding data from multiple sources and making recommendations to inform marketing and communication plans & strategies. 
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and manage successful integrated marketing campaigns and communication strategies, linked to business objectives, to achieve targets, budget and return on investment. 
  • Strong capability and experience in effective stakeholder management. 
  • Proven organisational skills, ability to multi-task, prioritise workloads and meet deadlines and budgets. 
  • Thorough attention to detail, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. 
  • Excellent written and oral skills and presentation capabilities. 
  • Contribute to and uphold the reputation of the marketing team as a knowledgeable, collaborative, and highly valued business partner. 
  • An appreciation of the challenges involved in managing a diverse workforce within a not-for-profit environment.
