In this newly created role, the Marketing Manager will look to drive brand awareness, consumer engagement and customer acquisition, through both on and offline marketing initiatives, that align with brands overall business objectives. With a focus on content and social, the Marketing Manager will be hungry, passionate and always open to trying something new!
Responsible for the planning, development and execution of the brands marketing strategy, the Marketing Manager will play a central role in providing proactive marketing support, that harnesses the brand with their existing customer base of consumers and distribution partners, while supporting brand growth across other territories and channels.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Strategy
- Develop, plan, execute and review the marketing strategy, ensuring alignment between brand strategy, market sales and growth objectives for the business
- Partner closely with internal sales, product and leadership teams, to support the brand portfolio in the Australian and New Zealand market and support the penetration strategy for new regions
- Source, manage and own the relationships with external specialists, agencies and other external partners required to execute the marketing strategy
- Create and manage an editorial calendar that ensures consistent and timely content delivery across all relevant platforms
- Produce high-quality and engaging content for all channels and different mediums, including articles, videos, blog posts, social media, EDMs, etc.
- Identify, recruit and manage a network of influencers and content contributors, brand ambassadors and affiliates, alongside managing such commercial agreements
- Act as brand custodian across all touch points, including the development of a brand style guide and ensuring this is applied across all brand efforts
- Manage all areas of design, including packaging design and print/POS material
- Create compelling marketing and sales enablement collateral (presentations, distributor and activation materials, event POS material, etc)
- Oversee and coordinate the brands community engagement program, including the management of (and some participation in) the events calendar
- Monitor the brand website and conduct regular reviews, ensuring all content is relevant, up to date and performance is optimised
- Conduct thorough keyword research and optimize content for SEO to improve organic search rankings
- Working with internal specialists across the management of brands digital community (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok engagement), ensuring timely and accurate responses to engagement
It would be ideal for the Marketing Manager to possess prior experience working within a retail or consumer product brand or environment, particularly so within a business going through a time of immense growth. While it is not imperative for this candidate to have prior experience within the car, caravan, sports or leisure industries, a natural and genuine passion for all things cars, lifestyle and travel is a must!
