Reporting to our General Manager of Brand and Marketing, the purpose of this position is to develop and execute a marketing strategy to achieve the business objectives of Ardour Hotels and Estates
This new and unique role will be based at our Salter Brothers Hospitality Central Services which is located in Fortitude Valley.
Salter Brothers Hospitality currently operates 16 retreat hotels and estates; more than 20 restaurants and bars; 8 Spa Anise spas and other wellness facilities; as well as Spicers Scenic Rim Trail, one of the largest ecotourism ventures in Queensland with 38 rooms over five campsites. There are plans for considerable growth in the near future.
The role and key duties;
- Leverage the unique opportunity of launching a brand in the luxury hospitality space with a strategy that delivers on the positioning of ‘Celebrated Luxury’;
- Develop and implement a comprehensive marketing strategy for Ardour Hotels and Estates to maximise brand and asset awareness;
- Drive performance of all Ardour assets to maximise revenue;
- Coach, mentor and develop the Ardour Hotels and Estate marketing team, enabling them to achieve their business objectives in an environment with strong internal and external customer focus;
- Develop and implement an integrated marketing campaign across relevant consumer touch points;
- Develop an appropriate cadence of campaign messaging with a thorough approach to strategy and planning, eg seasonally, biannually etc;
- Working with Revenue Management to drive the commercial performance of each hotel based on business objectives and requirements
- Manage the LAM marketing team to support the GM’s and leverage opportunities through local tourism partners.
- Elevate the content on our website and all communication to our database;
- Ensure a social strategy is developed and implemented that is integrated with all other marketing activities;
- Increase engagement and followers through social initiatives.
- Implement effective integrated paid social media strategy as well and an influencer / partnership strategy.
Essential criteria required to be considered;
- Degree qualified in related discipline
- 3- 5 years’ experience as a Marketing Manager;
- Experience working with luxury brands, ideally from within Hotels / Hospitality;
- Excellent verbal and written communication skill;
- Strong project management and coordination skills;
- Detail-oriented and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
