What does the role entail?
A rare opportunity is available to join Remedy in the position of Marketing Manager on a full-time ongoing basis. This role will see you champion all ANZ sub-brands (Kombucha, Sodaly, KICK and Shots), whilst also overseeing and supporting the growth of our international markets. Responsible for leading strategy, planning and execution, this role focuses on leveraging data, insights and knowledge to increase sales by driving trial, education and awareness.
To ensure a cohesive approach across regions and sub-brands, this role will have direct management of 2+ positions, a Brand Manager for ANZ, a Marketing Coordinator (hybrid role) and a Brand Manager for International who will execute the strategy for expansion across Asia and act as the liaison between ANZ and our marketing teams in the US, UK and Canada.
This role will also collaborate with the CMO on the Remedy Masterbrand strategy.
Some of the key responsibilities you’ll sink your teeth into:
Developing Marketing Strategies (ANZ Sub Brand Strategy)
- Create comprehensive marketing strategies for all Remedy sub-brands, including Kombucha, Sodaly, KICK, and Shots, with a focus on increasing trial, education, and awareness.
- Ensure alignment and cohesion across all marketing initiatives and sub-brands by working closely with the CMO and Brand Managers.
- Develop tactical plans and lead the execution of appropriate through-the-line campaigns, including (but not limited to) sampling, creative comms, PR, sponsorships, and digital and direct marketing.
- Lead segment NPD & product improvement recommendations, working with Operations and R&D to manage the packaging development process and innovation pipeline and planning.
- Work closely with the Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) and Brand Managers to ensure alignment and cohesion across all marketing initiatives and sub-brands.
Trade Marketing
- Collaborate with the sales team to drive portfolio content and/or materials for sales presentations and pitches.
- Identify and lead the execution of trade marketing materials specific to the portfolio, working closely with our design and communications functions and collaborating with relevant sales channel leads.
Market Analysis and Reporting:
- Analyse sales data, competitor activities, market dynamics, and consumer insights to inform marketing strategies. Compile and present monthly reports on Remedy performance.
Budget Management:
- Allocate, manage, and report on the appropriate budget allocation for executing marketing plans and achieving goals across all brands.
Remedy International Strategy & Support
- Work with the International Brand Manager to develop marketing strategies for expansion into South East Asia, the Middle East, and other international markets. Provide support and guidance to in-market teams in the US, UK, and Canada.
People Leadership
- Lead and develop direct reports, establish quarterly team objectives, and support the CMO in running monthly marketing team meetings. Act as a role model for Remedy values and foster a collaborative, cross-functional mindset within the team.
About You
- You’re a seasoned expert in the big wide world of FMCG (or similar) with proven experience in a strategic Senior Marketing Manager role.
- You are looking for a new challenge in your marketing career, and the opportunity to coach and mentor within a collaborative marketing team excites you.
- You have strong commercial and data acumen. You’re fluent in understanding drivers and trade considerations in the P&L and data analysis such as IRI, Nielsen and Quantum.
- You are insights-driven and consumer-centric with a drive to deliver disruptive, ‘better’ products and brand strategies.
- You are an expert at juggling lots of tasks and when things are busy it doesn’t get you down because you’re a natural at planning, prioritising, and decision-making.
- You have a natural confidence to work across functions, grow and influence strong relationships and lead by example.
- You should have strong presentation skills and attention to detail.
- You’re energetic, passionate, positive and thrive in a fast-paced and agile team.
