About the role
We are seeking a talented and strategic Marketing Manager to join our team at RFI. The ideal candidate will bring a wealth of experience in marketing, coupled with proven people management skills to lead, and inspire our marketing team. You will play a crucial role in shaping and executing RFI's marketing initiatives, driving brand awareness, and contributing to the company's overall growth.
Key responsibilities
Team Leadership
- Lead, mentor, and motivate a small team of marketing professionals.
- Foster a culture of continuous learning and provide opportunities for professional growth.
- Set clear performance expectations, conduct regular check-ins, and provide ongoing feedback.
Strategic Planning
- Develop and implement an integrated marketing strategy aligned with RFI's business objectives.
- Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and competitor activities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align marketing efforts with sales and product initiatives.
Brand Management
- Manage and enhance the RFI brand through consistent messaging, positioning, and visual identity across all marketing channels.
- Ensure brand guidelines are adhered to in all communication.
Digital Marketing
- Lead digital marketing efforts, including but not limited to website management, SEO/SEM, social media, email marketing, and online advertising. Stay current with digital marketing trends and identify opportunities for innovation.
- Utilise analytics to measure and optimise digital marketing performance.
Content creation
- Collaborate with internal teams to create relevant content for platforms including blogs, case studies, and multimedia content.
- Ensure content reflects industry trends and positions RFI as a thought leader.
Event Management
- Plan and coordinate participation in industry events, trade shows, and conferences.
- Leverage events to enhance brand visibility, generate leads, and build strategic partnerships.
Market Research
- Conduct market research to identify trends, competitor activities, and customer needs.
- Utilise insights to inform marketing strategies and product development.
Budget oversight
- Manage the marketing budget effectively, track expenses, analyse performance metrics, and make data-driven decisions to optimise budget allocation.
About you
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years experience in marketing management roles.
- Proven experience in people management and team leadership.
- Proficiency in digital marketing techniques and tools, including SEO, SEM, email marketing, and social media.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to craft compelling content and engage effectively with internal teams and external partners.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven mindset.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment and adapt to a fast-paced, evolving industry.
