About the Opportunity:
We are seeking a full-time Marketing Manager to join our Team at HQ to lead and own the marketing function across our Fashion & Apparel brands. This exciting opportunity reports to the Managing Director of our Organisation with a heritage of 100+ years, and currently has 2 x direct reports. The role offers the opportunity to work in a business with smart, ambitious people with great culture and the best attributes of a small company. The role REMIT covers responsibility to increase market share and consumer awareness over strong customer focused brands within fashion and apparel space, across retail and B2B. This hands on activity based role has the flexibility to WFH & office.
About You:
As the Marketing Manager you will be a resiliant individual who can make a valuable contribution to the strategic direction, financial performance and growth of our brands. This role is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified individual with 3 years+ experience in a Marketing role who is looking to join a mature and expanding business.
To build and grow within our fast-paced environment, you will need to be highly organised, have a strong commercial acumen, hands on experience with campaign management, Management of people, digital, production and design software, supported with a confidence to liaise with multiple stakeholders.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Strategic Focus
- Contribute to the strategic and functional brand and marketing plans
- Pro-actively advise the MD on key business decisions through sound commercial judgement, high-lighting options, trade-offs, opportunities and risks
- Define and implement a strategy for building the future Marketing and Digital function, reporting & Analysis
- Ownership of the Customer and Digital Experience across retail, social and eCommerce
Operational Excellence
- Manage the Marketing function to ensure consistent high standards of output
- Campaign Management (omni channel & concession)
- eCommerce & website Management
- Strong Content production capabilities
- Identify and implement opportunities to increase social growth, buzz, PR, influencer and ambassador social case
- Growth within online marketplaces and digital channels
- Ownership of a Marketing budget
- Collaborative and clear Internal communications with our company owned retail network and HQ
- Strong vendor selection and management
- Analytics and reporting
- Project Management skills
Skills and Experience Required:
- Tertiary qualification in Commerce, marketing, communications, business or related discipline
- Strong content production & Campaign Management experience
- Strong eCommerce and social experience
- Multitasking & prioritization
- 4 years+ operating in business environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, fluency in English and a good communicator
- Self-driven and motivated to achieve mutually positive outcomes
- Experience Managing a budget
- Ability to delegate and cascade effectively
- Strong pro-active and pragmatic problem-solving skills
- A proven ability to manage a diverse set of activities concurrently
